Interview with Lauren Wasynczuk - Saxophonist, Conductor and Music Educator

This week I sat down with Lauren Wasynczuk, a saxophonist, conductor and music educator. Lauren currently holds the position of Director of Ensembles with The Young Musician’s foundation which works with over 1,400 students in the Los Angeles area. She spoke with me about her childhood in sports and music, the trials of marching band and the importance of breath to players of all instruments for health and musicality as well as why we should be incorporating it earlier into our music education programs.

You can now listen to our podcast interview on SoundCloud before checking out the links below to find out more about Lauren.
